Blades of Glory Cricket Museum in Pune was set up by Rohan Pate, who once played cricket for Maharashtra, and Sachin Tendulkar inaugurated it in 2012. Its subject is cricket memorabilia, and the collection now runs to more than 51,000 pieces.
The gallery covers about 5,000 sq ft. Among the exhibits are bats signed by the captains and players of World Cup-winning sides, shirts signed by India's 2011 World Cup-winning team, and personal kit used and autographed by well-known international players. Over 450 international cricketers have themselves visited the museum.
