The Ancient Temple at Ladhoo stands in the middle of a spring-fed pond, the Sanz Haer Nag (also Sanyasar Nag), at Ladhoo village in Pulwama district, in southern Kashmir. It is about 4 km off NH44 by way of Lethapora and 18 km from Srinagar, and is listed as a Monument of National Importance.
The temple is square outside and circular inside, and its south-west-facing entrance has an arch topped by a pediment. It dates to around the 8th century. Names such as Sun Temple, Jeevanath Temple or Shiva temple have been used, but none has historical backing, so the ASI records it simply as the Ancient Temple, Ladhoo. The ASI maintains the fenced site, including the pond and a small park.
