The story

Ubbalamadugu Falls, also known as Tada Falls, drops about 100 metres inside the dense Siddulaiah Kona forest in Tirupati district, close to Sri City and the Oneness Temple. It lies roughly 80 km from Chennai and 35 km from Srikalahasti. The site has a connection with Shiva, so Maha Shivaratri is a popular time to come.

Getting to the falls is part of the outing. The full route covers almost 10 km over rocky, uneven ground. Beginners can follow a gentler 3 km path that runs beside a clear stream, while more experienced walkers continue upstream, scrambling over boulders to reach the foot of the falls.
