Tembhapuri Dam is an earthfill dam on the Nagzari river near Aurangabad in Maharashtra. Irrigation is its purpose, but its closeness to the city has also made it a tourist attraction in the monsoon season.
The structure measures 5,300 metres in length and rises 16.42 metres above its lowest foundation. The appeal is a trip out from Aurangabad during the rains to see the dam and the Nagzari.
