St. Jerome Church in Mapusa, Goa, is a Catholic parish church in the Archdiocese of Goa and Daman. A Franciscan, Fr Jeronimo do Espirito Santo, founded its community in 1594, and the church went up that same year. It was enlarged in 1674 for a growing congregation, repaired in 1839 after an accidental fire the year before, and had its entire roof damaged during Operation Vijay.
The building is in the Baroque style, rising three storeys, each with three doors, three windows and balconies with round balustrades. A dome with the bell tower stands at the rear, the roof is of wooden planks, and there are three altars inside. A shrine to Our Lady of Miracles is also here. Its feast, the Milagr Saibinnichem Fest, draws thousands of devotees every year.
