Soundaryeswarar Temple is a Hindu temple at Thirunaraiyur in Tamil Nadu. Its presiding deity is Shiva as Soundaryeswarar, with his consort Tiripurasundari. Tirugnanasambandar sang of the shrine, which makes it one of the 275 Paadal Petra Sthalams of the Tevaram, the early medieval hymns of the Tamil Saivite saints.
The temple is also known for its Ganesha, called Polla Pillaiyar, regarded as swayambhu or self-manifested. A legend tells of a boy, Nambiyandar Nambi, whose father sent him to offer prasad to the deity, and to whom Ganesha is said to have revealed himself.
