Shree Siddhi Vinayak Ganesh Mandir, also called Nagda Ganesh Mandir, stands at the edge of Nagda village in Dewas, Madhya Pradesh, about 7 km from the city. It is believed to go back to the time of the Pandavas, and to have been built by King Janamejaya, son of the Kuru king Parikshit, while historians put the present statue at about 1,100 years old.
The shrine of Siddhi Vinayak occupies a small mandap. Beside it are an ancient pond and an old banyan tree, with a figure of Lord Ganesha embossed on its lower part.
