The story

Parsvanath Jain Temple II stands in the Digambara Jain temple precinct at Khandagiri in Bhubaneswar. Built in the 20th century, it is still used for worship and is linked with the Digambara Jaina Tirthankara Committee of Bengal, Bihar and Orissa. The Rushavanath temple lies to its north and Parsvanath Temple I a few metres to the north-west.

The east-facing shrine is of brick and cement concrete under a reinforced concrete slab roof, in the Kalinga style, with a sanctum 6.5 m long and 4.1 m wide. Its image shows Parsvanatha standing, crowned with a serpent hood, with two tiny male figures at the base and figures of Jain meditators on either side.
