Masjid Uppal Kalan stands in the Uppal Kalan neighbourhood of Hyderabad, Telangana. It was built around the 1660s by Abdullah Qutb Shah and follows the Qutb Shahi manner of mosque building.
The prayer hall sits on a raised plinth reached by a flight of steps. Its front has three arched openings, sheltered by a projecting chajja that rests on stone brackets. A tall minaret rises on either side of the façade, and two smaller minarets stand at the back of the building.
