The story

Keleswaram Mahadeva Temple is a Shiva temple in Keleswaram, a village in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, and is managed by the Travancore Devaswom Board. Its particular feature is that the Shiva linga faces west, an arrangement that is rarely seen.

Around the main shrine stand several sub-deities, chief among them Vishnu, Durga, Ganesha, Nagaraja, Murugan and Ayyappa. Maha Shivaratri and Thiruvathira are the festival days that bring the largest crowds to the temple each year.
