Gulganj Fort is an 18th-century fort on a hilltop in Madhya Pradesh's Chhatarpur district, built in the Bundeli style of architecture. It served both as a residence and as a defensive post, and under British rule it was used as a local seat of administration.
It is a classic garhi, the local term for a small hilltop fort close to a water source, screened by forest or trees and set back from the main routes. Tradition holds that King Sawant Singh had it built for Gulbai, his mistress.
