01 — The story

The story

Vodalarevu Beach is a stretch of golden sand on the Bay of Bengal, a short distance from Kakinada. The water is clear and the shoreline clean, and people come to swim, ride the waves, walk the sand and watch the sun rise and set. Its quiet setting also makes it a spot for yoga and meditation, and street food is sold nearby.

The village of Aduru, close to the beach, is known for traditional handicrafts made by local artisans. Kakinada Beach and the Coringa Wildlife Sanctuary, with its plants and wildlife, can also be reached from here.
