Thirparappu Falls is where the Kodayar River comes down near Kulasekharam in Kanyakumari district. At the falls the river runs over a rocky bed that stretches for about 91 metres.
The falls lie about 13 km from the Pechiparai Dam, around 35 km from Nagercoil, 55 km from Kanyakumari and 52 km from Thiruvananthapuram. Kanyakumari district has several other waterfalls in the Western Ghats, among them Ullakaruvi, Vattaparai and Kalikesam, which can be combined with a visit here.
