Panchavan Madeviyar Pallippadai Temple, also called Panchavanmadeviswaram, is in the village of Pazhayarai near Kumbakonam, Tamil Nadu. A pallippadai is a temple built as a memorial, and this one honours Panchavan Madeviyar, one of the wives of Rajaraja the Great.
When she died, her stepson Rajendra Chola placed her ashes in an urn at this spot and raised a Shiva temple over it; a model of the urn can still be seen above the lingam. The building had fallen into poor condition by 1978, when the Tamil Nadu Archaeology Department restored it.
