The story

Khirganga National Park is a protected area in Kullu district that takes in pine forest, mountain streams, rocky slopes and alpine meadows set below snow-covered peaks. Its woods support a varied mix of plants, animals and birds.

A network of trekking paths crosses the park, running through dense forest and over rough ground to open high pastures. The most used route ends at the Khirganga hot springs, a sacred site where trekkers bathe in the warm water with Himalayan peaks on every side.
