Karoh Peak rises to 1,467 metres in the Sivalik Hills, close to the Morni Hills area of Panchkula district, and is the highest point in Haryana. The Sivaliks here form an outer range of the greater Himalayas.
The Imperial Gazetteer of India, compiled under British rule, gave its height as 1,499 metres. Later work by the Survey of India showed the summit to be roughly 30 metres lower, and the official figure was corrected downwards. A Karoh Deota temple and archaeological ruins are recorded on the peak.
