Kamaldah Jain Temple stands near Gulzarbagh railway station in Patna and is counted among the oldest Jain temples in Bihar. It is part of the state's Jain pilgrimage circuit and marks the area where the Jain teacher Sthulabhadra taught.
The temple was built in Sthulabhadra's memory; he is honoured as founder of the Svetambara sect, and tradition connects his last teachings with Chandragupta Maurya and Bhadrabahu. It sits on a brick mound and carries images of Sthulabhadra. A separate shrine is dedicated to Sudarshana Swami, where his footprints in black stone are covered with saffron.
