CSI Christ Church in Munnar is an Anglican church dating from 1910, a legacy of the British planting community. Henry Mansfield Knight built it in memory of Eleanor Isabel, and their story is part of local lore. The building uses stone brick finished with lime plaster, and its design mixes Gothic form with Roman touches.
Inside are stained-glass windows showing saints and biblical figures, sloping roofs, chandeliers and an altar set with religious objects. Brass memorial plaques on the walls commemorate British planters and other notable people of the district. The church is open to visitors through the day. The KDHP Tea Museum is about 3 km away, and the Headworks Dam at Moolakadai, part of the Pallivasal hydroelectric scheme, is around 3.6 km off.
