The story

Bhrigu Lake is a glacial lake in Kullu district at about 14,100 feet, within reach of Manali. Its clear water is ringed by meadows and Himalayan peaks, and its appearance shifts with the seasons, green in summer and white with snow in winter.

The lake takes its name from Maharishi Bhrigu, one of the Saptarshis, who is believed to have meditated beside it. The trek up crosses varied terrain and is considered manageable for beginners, which makes it a common choice among walkers starting from Manali.
