Anginda Peak rises to 2,383 m in the Nilgiri Hills, on the border between Palakkad district in Kerala and the Nilgiris in Tamil Nadu. It is the highest point of Silent Valley National Park, lies just south of the Sispara pass and marks the southern edge of Mukurthi National Park. The Kunthipuzha, a tributary of the Bharathappuzha, rises on its slopes.
The peak can be seen clearly from the 30 m observation tower at the Sairandhri visitor centre. The Anginda–Sispara belt holds a population of the endangered and endemic Nilgiri laughing-thrush. For serious trekkers there is a four-day route that starts at Mukkali and passes Sairandhri, Poochipara, Walakkad and Sispara on the way to Anginda.
