The story

All Saints Church in Bulandshahr was built by the Public Works Department, with a Mr. Mitchell as contractor, and completed in 1864 for ₹5,700. The money came from local subscriptions raised under William Lowe, district magistrate and collector of Bulandshahr, with the British Government paying half. Lowe died in 1862 and lies buried in the chancel. The church stands well to the west of the town's railway station.

It has a gable roof, small buttresses and pointed arches over its windows and doors, and inside there are just two spaces, the nave and the chancel. A dispensary was added beside it in 1867 and later became a school, and a caretaker's lodge followed in 1883. Frederic Growse, a later collector, called the church 'a pretty little building' but found its roof grotesque and dismissed the lodge as 'a practical joke'.
